Anna Sidorow, Mixed Media Artist at Madison Green Festival

Biography

Anna Sidorow works in mixed media using painting, collage, and monotype printing. A self-taught artist, her botanicals are hand picked from her Haddam, Connecticut garden and hand-pressed. Ms. Sidorow’s paintings are semi-abstract, with the colors and shapes creating movement and an image with a strong visual aesthetic. She experiments with marbling paper and montype printing using gelatin as the plate surface, giving her work a new element of surprise. She primarily creates small works of art and currently sells her work through PINC in New London and enjoys sharing her art at festivals and shows. By day Anna works as an Administrative Assistant at Yale University.
