I have always loved all kinds of art, as a young child I loved to paint as a teen I got into sculpting. Now in my fifties I still have the need to create things that inspire me.

I found beading after I had both of my feet operated on in 2008, a friend had come by with get well gifts, a Beadwork magazine and a beading kit that’s all it took; I have been hooked ever since. I started with basic beading, stringing, peyote stitch, and learned the art of Kumihimo braiding with beads. I am always looking for new techniques and patterns I can change. My local bead store also inspires me with all the different shapes and colors of beads they continually find and share with us.

I love to make jewelry as gifts for my family and friends. Creating a one of a kind piece that can capture that person’s personality and hope they will love it.

I am an electronic technician working for Fidelity Technology Corporation at US Sub Base in the IT dept.
