Biography

I have always been an artist of sorts, dabbling in various art forms — from carving, drawing, poetry and fictional writing, to abstract art for my gardens, or whatever captured my fancy at any given time. My love for the outdoors and nature drew me to glass art. Nothing tells a constant new story like glass. Every day the weather patterns create many faces with the light of day and the dark of night. My fascination with how the glass “dances” and continuously transforms with the light, in reflection or transparency, inspires my creations. To further enfold nature, I attune peaceful sounds to the wind chimes and “Light Dancers”, (light catchers). I also incorporate a variety of old glass and “neat stuff” that I find, with the intention of giving them a new life. House Jewelry or as I like to refer to it, HOUSE BLING.

I am a business executive who has been in the direct marketing service industry for my entire career. Currently I have a small business consulting company called Direct Dynamics and am a business turnaround specialist. I am also working with the United States Postal Service as a Business Alliance Specialist. I am an advocate for the small business community and love to teach and share my experience.
