Nancy Scilipote began her work with pottery 20 years ago when her children gave her a gift to attend pottery classes. Today, Ms. Scilipote is a studio potter who makes decorative, playful and functional pottery using porcelain and stoneware. Her pots may be thrown, hand built or a combination of the two using texture, slips and glazes to achieve a specific look.
