Paul Ramsey, Photographer at Madison Green Festival

Paul W. Ramsey attended the first film production course at Wesleyan University, his alma mater, and then went on to study photography and cinematography in graduate school. His first great SLR camera was a Minolta SRT 101. He has primarily shot landscapes throughout his circuitous career—from the pond in his backyard to the extraordinary vistas of New Zealand. He is also a very traditional photographer, in that he composes almost entirely in the camera and does very little with Photoshop.
