Biography

Art and the related fields have always held a special place in my heart. At 69 years of age and retired, I went seamlessly from creating specially designed cakes and baked goods to find my true passion in painting. I have found painting to be exciting, fruitful and always a very satisfying experience.

Having had no formal training, I tried every style and medium that captured my interest.

My watercolor paintings are my own style, extending through realism, nature and to abstract.

Acrylic and oil are my favorite mediums. Much of my work is abstract, however, my love of flowers, the ocean, and scenic views are reflected in many of my works.

In November of 2014, I had my first private showing event at Brookside Restaurant in Higganum, CT. The showing produced the sale of two still life paintings in oil, and three abstract paintings in acrylics.

I received a commission to do one large painting and presented it successfully in February of 2015.
