Biography

William is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art in Fine Art and Design (BFA 2001) and a graduate of Pratt Institute in Art and Design Education. (MS 2006) He is a former graphic designer who created retail work for Guitar Center and a clothing PR firm in LA. He returned to school to pursue education where he is a current primary school Art teacher Brooklyn, NY.

William’s current photography work is looking at the interplay between nature and man, past and present and how there is a constant balance between these opposites. In creating these images he is trying to find a balance with digital photography and classic dark room printing methods. The digital print takes the sensory production out of the printing process and he is looking to recreate that feeling through his manual transferring process.
