Biography

I was lucky enough to spend summers on Kingfisher Lane in Westbrook, CT. My grandmother had a cottage there, and it was on Quotonset Beach that I learned to look for sea glass with my mother. To this day, I walk a beach looking down, scanning for interesting shells, crab claws, and of course, for sea glass. About 5 years ago, I decided to learn how to do something with the best pieces I had collected. The sea glass that I use is genuine. It is not altered in any way. I use it, as found, with the exception of having it drilled. I am inspired by the ‘hunt’ and then again by making something special with what I find.
