Watch a Video here! Take your photography to the next level by incorporating encaustic, molten, pigmented beeswax. Study transfer techniques Xerox image (black/white or color) and the use of other media to enhance your photos to give them depth and a more painterly effect. Learn pouring and other methods to prepare your panels for receiving the transferred images.

Teaching Artist Corina Alvarezdelugo works in sculpture and mixed media, and has never been afraid to experiment with new materials and techniques. Her award-winning paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings have been exhibited at venues worldwide and throughout the United States. She is a member many distinguished artist societies including, the Guilford Art League, the New Haven Paint and Clay Club, the Society of Connecticut Sculptors, the Arts Council of Greater New Haven, the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists and the Pen and Brush, Inc. of New York. Her first formal art training came during her teenage years under the guidance of Venezuelan painter and sculptor Luis Alvarez de Lugo (who later became her father-in-law). As a young adult, she continued to study fine art at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT and Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT.
